Two Conversations of 17 Jan

Two conversations.
Excerpts from two different conversations of 17 Jan.

If I were to upload my entire computer, every thing on it, onto some sort of online database that were still manageable, allowing the ability to navigate through it as you can my computer, then destroyed my computer, would that make the uploaded version a ghost? By definition of ghost; continuing similar actions or reflecting those actions of life before death. My computer lays stagnant unless I use it, the uploaded memory of my computer would as well.

I have heard, and sometimes agree, that Communism/Socialism could work with the continual addition of online users. Arguably most Internet transactions are undoubtedly a Capitalist venture.
If you read the Communist Manifest by Marx and Engels you will see that they celebrate and condone Capitalism (as opposed to popular Marxist conclusions), without capitalism we could not have escaped from the feudal system, more importantly capitalism allows an open market for progress. Opens trade, global trade. Global trade leads us into global transactions, communication, cooperation. Telecommunication breaks down boarders, the Internet, ideally, has no borders. And I think many people agree there are very strong Socialist ideals within Internet political debate. The more we replace jobs, trade, communication, entertainment, etc. with online jobs, trade, communication, entertainment, etc. the more we move toward promising communism.
